Aiuto x AF SPOT su 1D Mark IV

Ciao!
Ho una domanda da fare riguardo alla funziona spot af presente sulla 1D Mark IV e attivabile solo sui super teleobiettivi (200 f2, 300 2.8, 400 2.8 ...) dotati dei 4 tasti AF STOP.

La funzione si attiva dal menu C.Fn III-6-7.

Premendo uno dei tasti AF STOP presenti sul teleobiettivo dovrebbe attivarsi la modalità spot af, che riduce l'area di messa a fuoco .
Il problema è che ovuenque si dice che tale modalità può essere usata in tutte le modalità e su ogni punto af.

From the 1D MK IV Manual;

If you use a super telephoto lens equipped with an Image Stabilizer and
AF stop button, when [8C.Fn III -6: Lens AF stop button function] is
set to [7: Spot AF] , spot AF will be possible (p.220).

pg 220:

7: Spot AF
The focusing line sensor's active area is made narrower to enable a
narrower part to be focused. This works in all AF modes and with any AF
point selection method. It is especially convenient during manual AF
point selection. However, since it is difficult to keep the AF point on a
moving subject, focusing might be difficult. With spot AF, the AF point
will blink brighter than usual.

Spot AF can be activated on supertelephoto
L-type IS lenses by pressing
and holding the AF stop button after
C.Fn. III-6 AF stop button function has
been set to option 7: Spot AF setting.

Se invece io premo il tasto AF STOP mi lampeggia il punto centrale e basta! Non riuesco a usare gli altri punti in tale modalità! Mi serve sapere la procedura esatta passo passo che usate x usare la modalità spot af su di un punto qualsiasi di messa a fuoco.
Come si deve fare? L'obiettivo è un 200 f2 e funziona perfettamente, se uso i tasti STOp AF per passare ad esempio da one shot ad ai servo o per attivare l'IS, tutto ok.

Sul web ho cercato ma nulla, nn se ne parla!
