Labirinto nel marmo della cattedrale gotica di Koeln (Colonia, Germania).
Riporto il mio commento originale scritto in inglese. Scusate ma non ce la faccio a ritradurlo
The entrance of any temple, no matter the cult inside, shouldn't be stright because the real path the man has to do is to get inside himself. The gothic cathedrals always have a labyrinth on the ground symbolizing the hard path we have to walk through to get to the "center" which is nothing but our inside.
The labyrinth you see here is on the crypt of Koln Dom cathedral (Germany). As in general happens, this type of labyrinth are easly solved just by walking through the lines and they presents no crossing or intersection. Thus they are not really labyrinths in which you can loose your step and this because the way to the ineer true self is hard but univoque. There is only one way to the center. The other paths are leading to wrong directions.
So whenever you see these labyrinths on the ground please avoid to step on them trying to solve the labyrinth: in this way it will be clear to all that know this symbol that you just didn't understand nothing about the real trip you should do, which is again a mental trip inside your inner way to be earth.
P.S. to symbolize the labyrinth in the normal churches the entrance is made 90 degrees with wooden doors so that to get inside you have to "curve" and you cannot get in "straight". Of course this is a quite ancient symbolism (anterior to any Catholics or Christian cult which only stole pratically all their symbols from other cults) and many ppl just don't get it, nor many priests themselves does... _________________ [...]
