Just translated this from the Canon website from the Japanese

"Canon announce most fomridable update for 300D/Kiss/Rebel ever. Now lucky
and honoured customer have good choice for firmware update. Like the
morning sun these updates bring new life to old camera, to let cripple
walk again. Honourable customer now to get choice of feature like 10D, but
only limited by imagination. Can select from 3 additional features from
10D for each firmware version. For example can have FEC, Set button
function and focus selection. Or FEC, focus selection and rear sync flash
with new 560EX-D flash."

So, it looks like all the crippled features will be made available, the
only limitation will be the number you can load at once!

...a me sembra proprio na stru***ta... a parte il flash che non si è mai sentito prima ma anche la storia delle 3 funzioni che si possono scegliere non è proprio credibile...
